    OVERVIEW:

    Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the administration of HR paperwork, data entry, maintenance and customer service regarding Human Resource, payroll and benefit data. The HR Coordinator ensures duties are performed in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a technical point-of-contact for payroll, benefit and training systems and assists employees with optimal use of all HR systems.

    As an HR Coordinator no two days will be the same! As an HR Coordinator at Central McGowan, you will have an opportunity to influence all areas within the Human Resources function

    THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in all areas of the hiring process by coordinating job posts, interviews, conducting reference checks and background check processing.
    • Assist in preparing onboarding paperwork for new hires.
    • Support employees as a main point of contact on a number of subjects including benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, etc. requirements
    • Assist with employee data entry into various HR systems and platforms.
    • Perform Employment Verifications
    • New employee orientation and onboarding planning.
    • Partner in the HRIS process on supporting tools/systems and troubleshooting issues
    • Assist our teams with HR relative questions and directing or redirect appropriately.
    • Continuously work to improve the workflow process in order to ensure data integrity and achievement of HR Operating standards.
    • Assist with HR record keeping and retention.
    • New hire benefit enrollment.
    • Assist in COBRA administration process (entering new hire and terminating member information).
    • Works closely with HR Team on additional HR related projects as assigned.

    **Qualifications: **

    • 1-2 years relative experience, preferred.

    • Associate’s degree in business, accounting or human resources preferred.

    • Working knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS/payroll system, preferred.

    • Must have high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

    • Must have exceptional aptitude for accuracy and timeliness.

    • Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving capability

    • ‘Can-do’ attitude and proactive, solution-focused individual.

    Pay is market competitive and dependent on qualifications
