    Role Overview

Vox Church is seeking a Central Production Manager (CPM) to lead and care for our production teams across all campuses. This role is ideal for someone who’s both technically competent and deeply people-focused—someone who can build healthy teams, create sustainable systems, and lead with pastoral insight.

Reporting to the Creative Technology Director, the CPM is responsible for leading the Central Production team, supporting Sunday services, and overseeing the operational health of our gear and systems. Although technical in nature, this role is ultimately about empowering volunteers, fostering a strong culture, and ensuring excellent, consistent worship experiences every week.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Culture

Conduct regular 1:1s with production leads and key volunteers

Provide ongoing feedback, encouragement, and pastoral care

Co-lead weekly team meetings to align goals and prepare for Sundays

Foster a healthy, growing volunteer culture rooted in clarity, care, and mission

    Sunday Service Execution

Own the health and consistency of production across Sunday services

Schedule and deploy central production support for campuses

Monitor live services and provide remote troubleshooting when needed

Oversee technical and livestream rehearsals at the broadcast campus (Branford)

Support Thursday night rehearsals and coordinate visual updates

    Volunteer Development

Supervise training for audio, lighting, and ProPresenter roles

Visit campuses regularly to coach and evaluate local teams

Identify and develop new production leaders across sites

Maintain volunteer resources and guides within the Production Portal

    Systems & Operations

Oversee gear health, firmware/software updates, and campus system readiness

Track production inventories and manage replacements as needed

Support the development of annual budgets and planning templates

Conduct quarterly gear reviews with campus leaders and offer recommendations

    Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in church production leadership or a similar ministry context

Demonstrated ability to build teams and develop volunteers in a multi-site environment

Strong working knowledge of live production (audio, video, and lighting)

Skilled in systems thinking, troubleshooting, and Sunday execution

High emotional intelligence and a relational, servant-hearted leadership style

Must be 18 years or older

    Cultural Fit

Spiritually mature, emotionally grounded, and aligned with Vox’s mission

Relationally driven and comfortable leading through influence, not just authority

Able to balance central standards with the needs of local campus teams

Committed to clarity, simplicity, and excellence in how teams are led
