Vocational Transition Specialists Central Region Educational Cooperative

• Albuquerque, NM The CREC is seeking Vocational Transition Specialists (VTS)s. Positions are available for Albuquerque/Rio Rancho, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe. VTSs will collaborate with DVR and school staff to deliver Pre-Employment Transition Services to students with disabilities ages 14-22 in their assigned areas and document services delivered. Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field required. Degree or Training in related field such as, Human Services, Social Work, Education, Vocational Rehabilitation preferred. * Excellent communication skills and ability to present information to various audiences * Dynamic individual with the ability to inspire students and build relationships. * Ability to work independently or in a team while prioritizing tasks and utilizing effective time management skills * Valid NM Drivers License and ability to provide own transportation * Position start date: 8/1/18.
