We are seeking an Account Supervisor (PR) to join our Public Relations team.

    ROLE:

PR ACCOUNT SUPERVISORS at Carmichael Lynch Relate are responsible for managing client teams, and overseeing projects from planning to execution. As a key client contact and a valuable partner to the account lead, the account supervisor drives much of the day-to-day work of the project – whether that be hands-on executing of media relations or influencer relations, writing and client counsel or by dividing the work with the team and overseeing others’ work. An important function of the account supervisor is to keep driving the project forward and keeping the team informed.

As an account supervisor, you have the opportunity to be a brand encyclopedia, with knowledge, historical context and insight that will help teams turn creative ideas into award-winning, brand-defining campaigns. You will get the opportunity to work with team leads to ensure each account you are on contributes to the agency’s continued success. You will help manage budget components, develop scopes of work and identify opportunities for organic growth with existing clients.

Between developing strategic marketing initiatives, managing client relationships and working closely to integrate with partners, this role will give you the opportunity to be the gatekeeper to a brand’s success in the ever-evolving marketing landscape. An ideal candidate has knowledge and understanding of the integrated marketing mix and the role of storytelling in both consumer and corporate situations.

    AREAS OF FOCUS:

    • Conduct research to help determine the appropriate public relations approach
    • Develop comprehensive, strategic plans to meet client objectives, timing and budget parameters
    • Lead client status meetings, and ensure the timely delivery of notes and conference reports
    • Develop and maintain strong media contacts for the agency, author pitches, actively pitch editors and reporters, and generate earned media coverage in support of clients’ media relations goals
    • Grow and maintain influencer contacts and assist with the development and execution of influencer programs
    • Write news releases, articles and other documents in support of a client’s business.
    • Communicate regularly with the team to share work updates and progress of assigned tasks
    • Participate in new business development including brainstorms, presentation development and delivery
    • Oversee and guide team members based on the client assignment
    • May supervise interns or account coordinators
