We are currently looking for individuals to work as removal technicians for an expanding mortuary service located in the Waco and surrounding area. Responsibilities: • What we solely do is work for the funeral homes. Our job is to take the deceased into our care. We call that a removal. That can be anywhere from a fatality on the highway, murder, decomposition, nursing home, decedent's home, or hospital. Then after removal, we'll either embalm or cremate for the funeral home after proper paperwork is received. • Schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 8am to 5pm and then on call for removals at night. Wednesday and Thursday off followed by Friday - Sunday 8am to 5pm and on-call for removals for those nights. The next schedule would only be Wednesday and Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and then on call for removals at night. We are starting our removal techs at $14 an hour and after 60 days we'll do an evaluation to see if job skills are up to standards and will raise to $15 an hour. We pay 80% of health blue cross blue shield and dental and vision after 60 days. Qualifications: • Driver's license • Clean driving record • Clean background • This can be a very extreme job on a case-by-case basis. You must to able to handle your emotions under any circumstance • You will be in contact with smells and bodily fluids. Yes, we have PPE but it's still something to consider before applying Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly
