  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Central Time Administrative Specialist plays a vital role in supporting station operations 24/7. The primary responsibility involves processing union member call-out messages, updating work schedules, and maintaining timecards while ensuring confidentiality and timeliness. The position is an in-office role requiring flexibility, reliability, and precision.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Adhere to all policies and procedures to uphold operational success, accurate employee pay, and compliance with the labor agreement.
    • The ability to support a 24/7 operation schedule and willingness to work in an environment that runs continuously, around the clock, seven days a week.
    • Maintain updated work schedules and plans for open shift coverage.
    • Solicit additional hours or overtime following established procedures.
    • Maintain communication protocols with station and team leadership regarding workforce status.
    • Update and distribute Time & Attendance shift summary reports.
    • Collaborate closely with Time & Attendance Supervisors and Manager to address staffing and timecard challenges.
    • Ensure accurate maintenance of systems for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
    • Participate in shift briefings and established workgroup meetings facilitated by leadership.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required

    • A minimum of one (1) year of successful experience related to scheduling and/or time and attendance or resource (staffing) planning experience required
    • Proficient to advanced level Microsoft Excel experience required depending on job duties
    • Proven ability to successfully interact with team members and leadership in a fast paced and often rapidly changing environment
    • Broad understanding of airline operations preferred
    • Must work with minimal supervision
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays
    • Detail oriented mind-set a must
    • Hands-on, high-energy approach essential
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

    Preferred

    • Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience.

    Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
