    Customer Service Representative Central Transport, LLC, a leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 80 years is currently seeking Customer Service Representatives for our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. This client relations role is a critical position to maintain customer perception of our organization. Our representatives are provided with in depth training and formal development program to provide continuous skill and internal career enhancement based on performance and worth ethic. This is a tremendous entry level opportunity for college students, recent graduates, or experienced professionals! Job Details & Responsibilities: - Part Time and Full-Time shifts are available between 7:30am and 9:00pm (Monday-Friday, no weekends!) - Professionally and promptly address customer inquiries via phone and email including tracking/tracing, scheduling pick up requests, process instruction, and rate quotes - Research issues using available resources and if necessary, redirect issues to appropriate resources and or escalates issues requiring urgent attention - Maintain clear and detailed records and documentation for each customer interaction - Communicate with internal parties as necessary regarding changes to, or needs for specific shipments - Handle a variety of scenarios with the ability to think decisively The ideal candidate will possess the following: - Associate's Degree in a business related field is preferred, but is not required - Excellent attendance and the ability to work the same shift each day - Superior communication skills - Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency - Ability to maintain a professional demeanor - Experience with Microsoft office (Outlook), and willingness to learn company specific systems - Ability for detailed note taking - Call center/customer service experience is preferred, but is not required - Upbeat personality/positive outlook Salary and Benefits: Starting rate: $13.65 - $16.00 per hour Attendance bonus Shift Premium after 6:00 pm 401 (k) Medical/dental benefits Paid vacation/sick time off Life Insurance Collaborative environment Opportunity for advancement
