    ABOUT CENTRISYS / CNP

    Centrisys Corporation manufactures US-built decanter centrifuges and is a market leader within the US municipal wastewater business and manufactures for a wide range of industrial processes. Centrisys, founded as a service and repair company in the 1980’s is also a market leader in providing custom centrifuge solutions for the most challenging centrifuge applications found in industries such as mining, tunneling, and manure processing. Centrisys has grown to provide additional separation solutions including sludge thickening equipment, sludge drying, vertical scroll centrifuges, and high-speed disk separators.

    CNP, a subsidiary of Centrisys Corp. was formed to compliment Centrisys as related to supplying innovative biosolids and nutrient recovery processes. Products within CNP include MagPrex, CalPrex, PONDUS, LIPP, and Hydrograv Adapt systems.

    ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    If you are the ideal candidate for this position, then you are the following:

    A proven and successful salesperson, capable of working out of a home office within your assigned geographic territory. You work with regional manufacturer rep firms to maintain and increase brand awareness within each rep’s territory. You’re successful in managing and developing sales opportunities, and you prospect effectively with the rep firms to generate new leads and opportunities. You naturally build relationships founded in trust with those you work with including future end-users, design engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You enjoy the process of learning and self-training and can successfully transfer that into training others including manufacturer’s reps and customers. You have a history of selling within a complex sales process and you can adapt your strategies to achieve success depending on the specific circumstances of the sale. You easily navigate technical engineering specifications, complicated project delivery methodologies, and bid processes. You demonstrate patience yet maintain focus throughout a long sales cycle and process for many different opportunities at once. You are accustomed to tracking your sales numbers and activities through a company provided CRM system and you are motivated to improve your sales potential via training and personal development. You have a history of achieving over $90,000 per year and an expectation to make over $150,000 per year. Centrisys’ top earning salespeople regularly achieve income of $200,000 or more per year.

    SALES TERRITORY

    Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia 

    JOB SUMMARY       

    • Prepare and maintain sales action plans and strategies.
    • Prep and present sales proposals and technical sales presentations to owners and engineers.
    • Make sales calls to new and existing clients. 50% travel expected.
    • Sell value-added products, where product being sold is often more expensive than the competition.
    • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships.
    • Facilitate the municipal design process by acting as a liaison between Centrisys/CNP engineering and design firms.
    • Regularly engage with each manufacturer’s rep firm to plan sales calls to end-users and engineers, to review and track progress for and strategize on open opportunities.
    • Set, maintain, and communicate goals for both sales and prospecting for each rep firm. 
    • Work with applications engineering and manufacturer’s reps to review bid specs, develop bid day strategy, and execute bid process.
    • Prospect for new leads in person, virtually, on the phone, and via local manufacturer reps to obtain repair business on competitor manufactured equipment.
    • Prospect and develop industrial leads and opportunities within your geographically either with the assistance of your manufacturer’s reps or independently.
    • Track and report appointments and track sales progress in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
    • Maintain customer database in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
    • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
    • Continuously improve your technical/product knowledge.
    • Attend educational workshops and company meetings.
    • Minimum acceptable sales revenue per year: $5,000,000. Target $8,000,000.

    • Ability to engage new customers and new people
    • Must be a self-starter, driven, and goal oriented
    • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
    • Technical experience with centrifuges preferred
    • Ability to develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers built on trust and respect
    • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Demonstrate basic computer skills
    • Experience within the municipal wastewater business preferred
    • Engineering degree preferred
