Job Description

Our growing community bank located in Northbrook, IL needs a detail-oriented full-time Bank Teller to join our staff. We’re looking for self-starters who can take the initiative when responding to customer concerns and complaints. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality with a focus on being detailed orientated. He or she should understand the roles that smaller banks serve in the community and have a customer-focused attitude and is able to work every other Saturday. We promote from within, so potential career paths could include personal banking within the company. Responsibilities include:

• Perform transactions for customers including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing

• Perform account maintenance for customers who want to change their banking products

• Process information pertaining the customer’s accounts and route to the appropriate department for timely processing

• Learn and follow the bank’s operating procedures

• Process reconciliations daily of the bank’s activity and distribute reports to supervisor

• Process additional functions including detailed reporting as assigned by supervisor

• Escalate issues when necessary to supervisor in order to achieve successful customer service
