    Job Description

    Are you in the market for a fast-paced job that gives you the opportunity to utilize your excellent sales ability? We would love for you to join our team as an outside, business to business, sales representative. In this position, you would have the opportunity to grow your sales by maintaining relationships with current customers and bringing in new ones to drive business. You will be an ambassador of our company, becoming a trusted face to our customers while also adhering to company values and policies. As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal skills to provide service and support to your customers as needed, which may include coordinating with other departments within the Select Group.

    We are seeking an experienced and energetic Regional Sales Rep to work in the greater Sacramento Region. Regional Sales Rep is responsible for the sales growth, management, and development of both new and existing accounts and will possess a complete understanding of the target industry in his/her geographic region, relationships with these customers and/or specific industry will be a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

    • Identify potential customers and build a customer base in the assigned region.
    • Sell and promote Select Preferred Solutions (SPS) and services to meet or exceed both short term and long-term goals.
    • Actively engage in sales calls and cold calling on prospective customers. 
    • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how the SPS program can enhance their business.
    • Act as the direct, primary face-to-face contact to the customer maintaining strong win/win relationships.
    • Develop and maintain action plan for how SPS will achieve targets and identify specific activities necessary to achieve established goals.
    • Develop, manage and execute contract negotiations.
    • Manage negotiations/resolution of product, quality, and service issues.
    • Must adhere to all quality processes, including documentation and verification as they apply to the performance of your tasks.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Education: Bachelor’s is preferred
    • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and advertising, preferably outside sales or Business to Business sales.
    • Must be able to articulate and communicate effectively with customers, office and production personnel.
    • Knowledgeable in social media marketing
    • Ability to work independently, successfully manage accounts, work under pressure, and adapt to changes while meeting deadlines in the work environment is essential.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Strong computer skills
    • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Strong organization skills
    • Valid drivers’ license
    • Local travel
    • Back-end website management 
    • Understanding of Real Estate industry, a plus

    COMPENSATION:  Competitive. Based upon experience. Salary plus commission.
