    Multi physician private practice seeking a pre-medical student interested in Ophthalmology, who had ALREADY taken the MCAT's, to assist with scribing, testing and assisting with in office surgical procedures. The Assistant will undergo extensive educational training by the surgeon to learn how to take appropriate patient histories, learn the physiology and pathophysiology of disease processes and learn surgical technique. The Assistant will work directly with the surgeon to assist him with effective and accurate documentation of patient encounters and surgeries and have their work reviewed by the surgeon. The Assistant will also receive training on electronic medical system, multiple ophthalmic testing equipment, and direct patient interactions. Our past Assistant's have gone on to Medical School, Nursing School and Physician Assistant programs. Ideal candidate has ALREADY taken the MCAT's and is applying to medical school in 2023. Qualifications: 1. B.S Degree in Biology or other science related discipline 2. Reliable 3. Highly Organized 4. Extremely Detail Oriented 5. Professional 6. Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology 7.
