Job Description

Our client, a non-profit organization, in the Los Angeles area has an immediate need for a Temporary Budget Manager. You must be able to start work immediately and work full-time hour, plus possible overtime, Monday through Friday. Pay $40-45/hour.

Only candidates with at least 5 years of budgeting experience within the non-profit sector will be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

• Budgeting, forecasting, allocation optimization, analysis and research.
• Assist with developing and management of organizational budget
• Assist in development of budgets as it relates to government RFPs and grant proposals
• Manage actual vs. budget variance reporting
• Build monthly projections for programs and departments
• Create financial models and build reports
• Ad Hoc Projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related filed
• 5+ years budgeting experience within the non-profit sector
• Adept with non-profit software (i.e. Financial Edge, Blackbaud)
• Advanced MS Excel
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) in order to effectively collaborate with departments
