Job Description

DUTIES:

• Prepares daily cash journal entries. Balances daily third-party disbursements 
• Performs daily cash balancing, payroll, and accounts payable reconciliations.
• Performs analysis and research of accounts for reconciliation.
• Prepares general ledger transactions and monthly account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
• Performs month-end close and journal entries, including monthly accrual payroll entry and allocation entries for overhead and other allocated charges.
• Maintains Fixed Asset records, including adding new assets, maintaining periodic inventory, and disposing of retired and sold assets.
• Records daily transactions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Staff Accountant level, Intermediate Excel, exp. 2 plus years exp. in accounting
• Intermediate Excel (should know VLOOKUP’s and PIVOT TABLES)
• Main Duties: working with mortgage premiums and making payments to government agencies
