    Summary/Objective

    The electronic banking specialist position is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of electronic banking functions, under the direction of the Electronic Banking Manager. This position is responsible for the various tasks involved in the overall operation of the electronic banking department, including debit card maintenance, debit card fraud, and the daily operations and customer inquiries concerning various internet banking platforms. The electronic banking specialist is also responsible for ensuring regulatory and procedural compliance in all areas of this department.

    Essential Functions

    · Review and work all bill pay cases from the daily work list in the bill pay platform

    · Handle new bill pay cases as submitted by customers

    · Review and approve all new internet banking applications

    · Review and approve all internet banking account addition or deletion requests

    · Review pending external transfer accounts and external transfers

    · Respond to all internet banking messages throughout the day

    · Review and approve mobile check deposit files

    · Review and approve remote deposit capture files

    · Handle and resolve all debit card disputes

    · Respond to all Falcon fraud cases and manage reporting of that data

    · Handle debit card tasks (limit increases, travel notices, etc.)

    · Handle ACH files submitted to Hogan (email totals)

    · Train customers and handle setup of Remote Deposit Capture

    · Train customers and handle setup of Cash Management

    · Handle customer calls regarding internet banking platforms

    · Handle duties related to instant‐issue debit cards

    · Handle ACH returns, corrections, and disputes

    · Review reports from internet banking

    · Review debit card reports

    · Setup internal auto transfers

    Work Environment

    This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, email, electronic calendars, scanning devices, calculators, and spreadsheets.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full‐time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one‐hour paid lunch break. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

    Travel

    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out‐of‐area and overnight travel may be expected.

    Required Education and Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Experience in customer contact and problem resolution is preferred.

    Minimum

    Equivalent combinations of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources
