We are looking for a team member enjoys understanding how things are built and thinks/designs in dimension. It is important that this designer understand designing in scale. Specific responsibilities include: - Design with solutions in mind while understanding and respecting the client's budget - Design within ADA and all related code requirements - Provide expertise and perspective on structural, planning, and spatial issues on projects - Collaborate with General Contractors, Architects and CSB team members to get a project to completion- Conduct project research and develop design strategies - Think creatively and strategically, delivering intelligent and effective solutions to clients - Build and maintain positive ongoing client and vendor relationships Qualifications we are looking for: A history of collaborating with team members, clients and designers on many concurrent projects - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to consistently develop innovative and creative solutions to design challenges - An open and positive personality - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to thrive and lead in a constantly changing environment - Ability to handle stress with grace and ease Salary is commensurate with experience.
