Century Sign Builders (CSB) has a paid Intern position open to install exterior and interior signs. When not installing, this position will float in our production area; working in the vinyl, printing (various large format machines), engraving/routing, painting and finishing areas. We are looking for someone that can dedicate 20-25 hours weekly (flexible) and possibly 40+ hours over the summer.

The ideal candidate:

• Will be a junior, senior or graduate student studying Construction Management, Project Management or Architecture.
• Has a passion for "seeing" their work in the built environment--thinks in dimension & scale.
• Has a true interest in understanding why and how "things" work.
• Has a memory like a steel trap!
• Has the desire to see things from start to finish.
• Good organizational skills and working knowledge of MS Outlook
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record What you will learn in your time with us:
• Build and design methodology
• Exposure to all of the Architect and General Contractors firms in NM
• How to read a set of plans
• A methodology and practical set of time management and organizational skills-we work on multiple projects at one time
• Great communication skills and how to work effectively with clients
• How to maintain a sense of humor and work positively under stress
