    JOIN CEREBRAL STAFFING, LLC ON SITE AT OUR CLIENT MAYO CLINIC IN ROCHESTER, MN AS A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER!

    LOCATION: Rochester, MN

    DURATION OF ROLE: 8 months Plus

    HOURS: 40 hours per week, 1st shift

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Makes significant contributions to supporting cost containment for the Practice, orchestrating supply management initiatives, and bringing innovation to Mayo Clinic. This includes developing and participating in short-term tactics and long range plans that result in optimal use of supplies, services, inventory and performance within the Practice and supply chain management operations.
    • Takes an active enterprise and site-based leadership role with physician and executive leadership.
    • Develops supply chain management strategies and in addressing daily supply chain operations, including process reengineering, utilizations management, supply chain systems coordination, customer service, receiving, inventory management, asset management, and distribution. In addition, serves as the primary site-based interface to the Practice and Administration for all enterprise supply chain functions, including sourcing and contracting, informatics, analytics, the pharmaceutical formulary, information technology and telecommunications contracting, and procure-to-pay.
    • Actively participates in the standardization/value analysis process, in providing customer service to end-users, in the awarding of contracts, and in business reviews with supplier partnerships which provide medical/surgical supplies, non-medical/surgical supplies, capital/non-capital equipment, and service agreements for the entire Mayo Clinic and Mayo Health System.
    • Responsible for managing and adhering to Shared Services and the site operating budgets, as well as understanding and contributing to meeting targets and plans for the overall enterprise Supply Chain Management budget.
    • Responsible for oversight and management of both site based and shared services staff depending on the needs of the organization.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: (Education Requirements and Experience): Master's degree in business, process engineering or related field and ten years of management experience, including five years of experience in progressively responsible management positions in Supply Chain. Ten years of experience in a Supply Chain environment. In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree in business, process engineering or related field plus twelve years of experience in a Supply Chain environment with at least five years in progressively responsible management positions in Supply Chain is required. Must have extensive product, medical equipment, and medical services knowledge. Must have broad supply chain management experience, experience with logistics and distribution, and experience with business process standardization, business process engineering and performance improvement strategies. Advanced certification in healthcare desirable. Work experience in a hospital, a multi-hospital system or other healthcare related setting is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience as and a scholarly presence on a national level.
