Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Floor Supervisor. The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by overseeing and training servers during food service. Collaboration with the Chef and Event Manager is essential to guarantee a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Training and Supervision: Train and supervise event servers to ensure they adhere to Ceresville Mansion's service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Chef and Event Manager to coordinate and execute food service operations, ensuring seamless communication and efficient teamwork.
Event Execution: Manage the floor during events, overseeing the flow of service, addressing any issues that may arise, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of service quality by regularly inspecting setups, checking food presentation, and ensuring all service areas are clean and organized.
Team Communication: Facilitate clear communication between the kitchen and the service staff, ensuring a smooth transition between different phases of the event.
Problem Resolution: Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, finding effective solutions to ensure a positive overall experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, particularly in catering or restaurants.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Knowledge of food service procedures and industry standards.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Schedule: This is a part-time position, with flexibility required based on event schedules. Evening and weekend availability is essential.
