Essential Functions
Responsible for implementation of customer service standards for all internal and external clients. Goal is to exceed client expectations from initial inquiry to on-going client relationship management.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Accountable for efficient, effective and high-quality service provision following all defined waxing service standards.
Support and protect our culture.
Other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.
Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions.
Role Scope and Complexity
The technician reports directly to studio manager/studio lead and indirectly to all members of ownership and is accountable for all service provision. They are accountable for meeting established service protocols and customer service standards focusing on both internal & external customers. Also accountable for building and retaining clients through social platforms, community engagement & other marketing efforts put forth by management.
Minimum Qualifications
Current State Licensure (Esthetician, Cosmetologist)
A passion for waxing and the beauty industry
Time Management Skills
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team.

· Attendance –
o Arriving 15 minutes before shift
o No same day call-outs unless it’s an emergency
o 4 week notice for days off, unless your shift is covered
*It is up to the employee to find someone to cover their shift and proper paperwork must be turned into management.
· Basic Job Duties –
o Zenoti knowledge
*Including using the correct campaign codes at check-out
o Using iPads
o Ensuring client intake forms are complete before servicing
o Performing all Cleaning duties
*Initialed cleaning list to be left on bed along with inventory request
o Perform Opening/Closing duties as required
*Trash should not be left at the back door
o Doing all Learning assignments, and advanced services learning
o Being knowledgeable on Waxing the City products and services
o Add-on and Enhancement services being performed
o Training new hires when asked
o Wear your assigned scrubs, or plain black scrubs with closed toes shoes (no slippers, no flip flops, or crocs with holes per state board requirement)
· Studio Etiquette –
o Being respectful to one another at all times
o Teamwork – always help your coworkers, at times that might mean front desk duties
o Cell phones should not be used in front of clients
o Sanctuary door should be shut while clients are in the studio
o All advanced service kits (brow, lash, skin revelation, etc) should be kept clean and orderly, and those products should only be used for the service they are assigned to
· Customer service –
o Regular Club Orange membership sign-ups
o Rebooking clients
o Offering advanced services
o Consulting with clients about Product suggestions
o Stand outside of client’s door while waiting for them to get ready for the appointment
