    Reporting to the USA Industrial Sales Director, the National Business Development Manager for Power role is a crucial team member that will focus on supporting our power generation partners by offering the Certarus compressed natural gas platform to clients as a fuel alternative to expensive liquid fuels. The successful candidate will demonstrate industry leading outside sales management skills and is responsible for maximizing revenue by creating, managing, and implementing best in class sales development activities to maximize growth.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve volume, margin, and contracted sales targets for compressed natural gas (CNG) to power generation clients.
    • Manage all nation wide power generation relationships
    • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of the power generation space.
    • Experience in peak shaving, grid displacement, microgrid, co-generation and power rental markets is a plus
    • Conduct frequent visits to client sites and offices throughout the country to generate sales, maintain and develop relationships and identify new business opportunities
    • Develop a strong relationship with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty
    • Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of the business by recommending solutions that best fit the customer’s requirements and future needs
    • Strong ability to manage relationship at all levels

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • The successful candidate will have a minimum +8 years of experience in a power related role with demonstrated success in industrial power markets.
    • Candidate will have a large power generation client rolodex
    • Experience in negotiating contract terms, i.e., T&Cs, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, etc.
    • Willingness to travel
    • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
