Job Description

Education / Experience * Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution * Two to three years work experience, preferably in general ledger or governmental accounting * Solid understanding of US GAAP, and GASB policies and procedures * Proficient knowledge of Excel required; Yardi and/or Quickbooks preferred Responsibilities: * Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports * Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets * Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements * Create new processes to improve financial efficiency * Report analysis and findings to management team ​ Qualifications: * Previous experience in accounting or other related fields * Fundamental knowledge of GAAP * Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools * Detail and deadline-oriented * Strong analytical and problem solving skills Must possess and maintain a valid GA driver's license, proof of personal auto insurance to the minimum defined levels, and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier. Salary 45,000 yr to $55,000 plus excellent benefits. Salary is negotiable within range.
