    Position Title: Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic to perform inspection, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft to ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to quality, a high level of technical expertise, and works well independently and in a team setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspections, maintenance, and repairs on airframes, engines, and related components in compliance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications.

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; recommend corrective actions.

    • Conduct return-to-service inspections and complete all required logbook entries, maintenance records, and FAA documentation accurately.

    • Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

    • Collaborate with pilots, maintenance supervisors, and other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize aircraft downtime.

    • Maintain an organized work area, proper inventory of parts and tools, and ensure equipment calibration where applicable.

    • Stay current with FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs), manufacturer service bulletins, and continuing education/training requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.

    • Minimum 2 years of experience performing aircraft maintenance.

    • Strong knowledge of FAA Part 91 regulations.

    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.

    • Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and adherence to safety protocols.

    • Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and on-call as operational needs require.

    • Must be able to lift appropriate amount and work in various environments (hangar and flight line).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Inspection Authorization (IA) rating preferred or willingness to obtain.

    • Prior experience with turbine aircraft preferred.

    • Familiarity with maintenance tracking software.
