Sober Haven Recovery is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our growing team. We provide medical detox and residential treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders in a supportive, client-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual counseling sessions and facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.

Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.

Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor client progress and communicate with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Assist clients with relapse prevention planning and discharge preparation.

Maintain compliance with DHCS, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and facility policies.

Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.

Provide compassionate support throughout each client's recovery journey.

Qualifications

Current California CADC, CATC, or equivalent alcohol and drug counseling certification required.

Experience working in detox, residential, or behavioral health preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Knowledge of addiction treatment, ASAM criteria, and recovery principles.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Must pass a background check and drug screening.
