    Job Summary As a Certified Care Aide, you’ll be a valued member of our home care team, working under the supervision of a Care Coordinator. Your role will focus on providing personal and companion care during afternoon hours, supporting clients through their daily routines.

    Responsibilities

    Assist with personal care and hygiene during afternoon routines

    Prepare light meals or snacks

    Perform light housekeeping and tidying

    Accompany clients to afternoon appointments or activities

    Assist with errands and shopping

    Provide medication reminders

    Support ambulation and transfers

    Offer companionship and social engagement

    Follow detailed care plans

    Document care activities and observations

    Qualifications

    Certified Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent experience)

    Current CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain)

    Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray

    Reliable transportation within the service area

    Access to internet and a mobile phone
