About the Role:

North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregivers to join our growing team! If you have a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and take pride in delivering exceptional care, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort

Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces

Administer medication reminders and monitor client health conditions

Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being

Document and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors and family members

Requirements:

Current caregiver certification or CNA/HHA certification in the state of Virginia

Prior experience in home care, senior care, or a related healthcare setting preferred

Strong understanding of personal care, safety protocols, and infection control

Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor toward elderly clients

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
