We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant who thrives in a pediatric setting and brings both clinical excellence and a calm, reassuring presence to every patient interaction. What You'll Do
Assist the pediatric dentist during a variety of dental treatment procedures
Provide gentle, supportive care to pediatric patients and help manage child behavior during appointments
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Capture digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain a clean, organized and sterile work environment
Support team members and office operations as needed
Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
What We're Looking For
Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure through the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)
Current/active Nitrous Oxide certification or eligibility to sit for the exam (REQUIRED)
Minimum of two years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred)
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (every other Friday off)
Two late evenings per month: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (during the school year)
No weekends
Team members arrive prior to patient hours and stay until daily responsibilities are complete. We offer a consistent, predictable schedule with built-in time off, allowing for strong work-life balance.
