We are looking for a Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) to develop and evaluate the environmental sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with all provisions contained in this contract.
Experience: The CEH shall have experience in hospital or healthcare housekeeping management, preferably within a large and complex facility. At least one (1) year of prior experience as a CEH Manager within the last three years. Written certification of experience and copies of any formal training program (i.e. National Executive Housekeeping Association (NEHA)) shall be submitted before starting work. Familiarity with federal regulations related to hospital sanitation, infection control, and environmental services.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage a diverse team and coordinate across departments.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, environmental services, or a related field is often preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the department, managing a team of housekeeping staff, including supervisors, custodians, and support personnel. Ensure that all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, surgical suites, outpatient clinics, and research laboratories, meet stringent cleanliness and infection control standards.
Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and to comply with federal regulations and hospital policies.
