    Job Description

    We are looking for a customer focused and detail driven TEMP TO HIRE ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE who will be responsible for keeping financial records up to date, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements which includes but not limited to processing of business transactions like AP, AR, disbursements, expense vouchers ad receipts. This key role will also assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements which includes account analysis and other ancillary reports and support efforts of the accounting department under directions of the supervisor.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

    • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records

    • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

    • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

    • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

    • Provide assistance and support to company personnel

    • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

    • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas

    • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

    • Constantly update job knowledge

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • BBA or BS/BA degree

    • One to Two years accounting experience, including Financial Reporting

    • Strong quantitative skills, proven attention to detail with effective organizational skills

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing

    • Superior Microsoft Excel Skills including Pivot Tables

    • Experience with NetSuite preferred

    • Ability to multi-task and organize
