Job Overview We are immediately seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, long-term care needs, or those requiring hospice care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Clean and maintain the client’s living space, including laundry and general housekeeping tasks.
Lift and transfer clients safely as needed while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
Monitor and record vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals.
Assist clients with mobility and provide physical support during activities.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred.
Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide is required.
