HR Assistant Job Description
- Support daily operations within the Human Resources Department
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Track applicants process and assist with on-boarding
- Coordinate and assist with orientation
- Maintain proper records, assist with quarterly audits
- Respond to questions and collaborate with staff for any expired or missing documents
- Track monthly In-services and advise HR director of any employee missing or incomplete
- Update internal database with new hire's data
- Must be organized and have impeccable attention to details
- Must have knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Must maintain daily/weekly metrics for successful operation of the department.
We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining confidentiality is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job resourceful, work well with others a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position
Requirements: Education/ Skills:
- High School Diploma
1 year Previous work experience - Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to analyze, prioritize and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
