InMotion Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our hybrid concierge urgent care team. This is a unique opportunity to provide in-home patient care in Fort Lauderdale, supported remotely by a telemedicine provider. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated professional with strong clinical skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our hybrid concierge urgent care.
Responsibilities:
Travel to patients' homes for scheduled hybrid concierge urgent care visits (within Fort Lauderdale)
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
Record vital signs, collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and prepare patients for exams
Accurately document medical histories and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
Administer medications (oral/IM) as directed by providers, following safety protocols
Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment plans
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory of medical supplies
Communicate clearly and compassionately with both patients and providers
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
Maintain patient privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance
Mileage is reimbursed for all patient visits
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Some flexibility may be required based on patient needs
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program – required
BLS certification – required
Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and outpatient workflows
Experience in an urgent care clinic, high-volume clinic, or emergency room – preferred
Spanish-speaking – preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a healthcare team
Must have reliable transportation
