Our clinic is growing! This is your chance to join a well established independent behavioral health clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant. This in clinic, full time position will be, Monday - Thursday (10hr shift). After 90 day probationary period, benefits include paid vacation/sick time, paid holidays, and medical, vision and dental insurance plans that are paid in full by Benson Health Clinic for the employee.

Job Duties and Responsibilities are not limited to and may include:

Patient Vitals

Submitting PA's for medications

Take calls from patients and place call backs for the providers

Documentation of all patient interactions in EMR

Assist provider with daily needs

Monitor Spravato patients

Scan and upload documents into EMR system

Give Injections to patients

Send faxes electronically

Use Klara for electronic communication with patients

Keep your area tidy and organized

Typical working conditions: Work may be stressful at times, some clients might be very emotional, crying or angry. Interactions with others is constant and there will be interruptions, as you work independently but are also a part of a team. This job is mainly performed while sitting, there is daily standing, bending and some lifting, but never over 50 lbs.

Job Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant

Experience preferred - we do welcome new CMA, CCMA, or CCMOA graduates

Good oral and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills
