Large managed care company looking to fill a per diem Certified Medical Assistant in Kissimmee, FL.

Duties:

Provides assistance to the physicians in the preparation for and examination/treatment of patients. Prepares patient to be seen by the provider by obtaining patient history, taking vital signs, and assisting with coordination of care. Handles patient flow. Prepares examination room, cleans and sterilizes instruments per protocol, administers medications, reviews preprinted instruction sheets with patients, and other medical duties as assigned. May perform general office duties. Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Education:

Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. require a BCLS/CPR certification.
