    Job Summary

    As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our providers and ensuring a positive experience for every child and family who walks through our doors. This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to keep our pediatric office running smoothly and efficiently.

    You must be available for shifts between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM during weekdays and on rotating weekends, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    Responsibilities

    Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and recording medical histories.

    Assist providers during patient visits and procedures.

    Administer immunizations and medications under provider supervision.

    Collect and process lab specimens; perform basic testing (CLIA-waived).

    Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean, safe condition.

    Document all patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

    Support front-desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies.

    Qualifications

    Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (required).

    Lab experience and vaccine administration are strongly desired

    Excellent customer service skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Current CPR/BLS certification (required).

    Pediatric or clinical office experience preferred.

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor.

    Bilingual in Spanish preferred
