    Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Pediatric Mobile Medical Assistant (EMT preferred) to join our growing mobile urgent care team. This role provides lower-acuity, in-home pediatric care support for common childhood illnesses such as colds, flu, fever, stomach viruses, minor injuries, and other routine urgent care needs.

    This position focuses on clinical support, patient intake, documentation, and ensuring a safe and welcoming mobile care environment. The Medical Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed provider (NP/PA/Physician) and plays a key role in delivering high-quality, family-centered care directly in patients’ homes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare the mobile unit for daily patient visits.

    Obtain and document vital signs and patient history.

    Perform intake assessments within scope of training.

    Assist provider with exams and minor procedures.

    Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID, etc.).

    Support medication preparation and administration as directed.

    Provide patient and caregiver education as instructed.

    Maintain cleanliness and infection control within the vehicle.

    Restock supplies and ensure equipment readiness.

    Follow proper biohazard disposal procedures.

    Maintain HIPAA compliance in home settings.

    Report safety concerns immediately.

    Provide compassionate care to children and families.

    Maintain professional demeanor in residential environments.

    Communicate clearly with supervising provider and team.

    Qualifications

    Certified Medical Assistant required (EMT certification preferred but not required).

    BLS certification required.

    Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

    Ability to work independently in field settings.
