We are seeking a Medical Assistant who is dependable, professional, and dedicated to supporting our providers and patients.

    Position Summary

    The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality clinical support to our providers, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role involves patient-facing tasks, clinical documentation, and coordination between clinical and administrative teams.

    Location

    The Medical Assistant main service area will be Lawrenceville, GA with service assistance in Conyers, GA and Oakwood, GA twice a week.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Greet and room patients; obtain accurate vitals, medical histories, and intake information.

    · Assist providers during examinations and procedures.

    · Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.

    · Obtain vitals

    · Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and equipment.

    · Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR accurately and promptly.

    · Coordinate referrals, imaging, labs, and follow-up appointments.

    · Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic protocols.

    · Support front office staff with patient communication as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    · Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent credential.

    · 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (new grads considered with strong training background).

    · Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical processes.

    · Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

    · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment and multitask effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications

    · Experience in pain management, personal injury, orthopedics, urgent care, or primary care.

    · Phlebotomy certification or experience.

    · Familiarity with imaging coordination or durable medical equipment (DME).
