We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant for both our Virginia Beach (Landstown area) and Chesapeake clinic locations. We are also growing! With multiple clinic locations in the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake area, the candidate should expect to work in different clinic locations as needed. The position is ideal for someone interested in being a part of a pioneering men's health program and a growing business.

We have thousands of patients who receive testosterone replacement therapy and other men's services throughout 450+ clinic locations across the U.S. and Canada. Primary Responsibilities
Greeting patients
Conduct patient intake, including medical history and reason for visit
Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
Checking patient vitals and recording in EMR
Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients.
Assisting in lab sample testing and operations
Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
Assisting medical providers with patient care
Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA protocols
Administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and other Front Desk responsibilities
Qualifications
Experience in a related field, such as med spas, weight loss, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology, and/or general practice is preferred
Having great administrative and front desk operations experience and mindset is a strong plus
No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
Requirements
Pleasant, can-do attitude
Ability to interact with patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
Ability to discuss and perform sensitive procedures with the patient
Previous experience in a medical setting or med spa is preferred
Experience with drawing blood, running basic in-house lab tests, and preparing blood for send-out to a third party lab is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge is a plus
Candidate must own or lease their own reliable transportation and be on time each day
