ABOUT US
Nurocoach is a medical and mental wellness practice dedicated to helping Americans achieve optimal health outcomes through a comprehensive, holistic approach, with a focus on reducing reliance on prescription medications. DUTIES
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and medications.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three [2] years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing.
- Skilled in patient care techniques, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations.
- Knowledgeable in medication administration procedures and basic life support techniques.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient service.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
