    Job description

    We are a boutique medical aesthetic office with locations in Boerne, TX and Alamo heights San Antonio offering a wide range of cosmetic and medical services. We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant/patient care coordinator to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Candidate must display positive energy, attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Must have great listening skills, verbal and written skills, be computer proficient, self-motivated with strong work ethics.

    Responsibilities:

    Triaging patients, taking medical history, and documenting accurately in patient's EHR.

    Assure appropriate consent has been obtained prior to treatment or procedures.

    Assisting the practitioner with all procedures, which include prepping the patient and preparing all necessary equipment and materials.

    Escort patients to exam room

    Maintain assigned work area with supplies and equipment. Cleaning stocking and maintaining exam rooms, procedure rooms, instruments and equipment.

    Instrument sterilization

    blood draws

    inventory of medical supplies

    Maintaining strict confidentiality.

    Helping with all levels of customer care including phone calls, emails, photographing patients for before and after photos.

    ​Qualifications:

    Minimum two years certified medical assistant experience with current M.A. certification, is required.

    Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification must be current and maintained.

    Two years' experience in an aesthetic or medical office highly preferred.

    High school diploma or GED

    Familiarity with medical billing procedures.

    Knowledge of medical terminology.

    Strong organizational skills.

    Ability to thrive in a unique environment.

    Salary based on experience.

    Candidate required to share time between locations.
