Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with medical administrative support. This position is based in a outpatient, pre/post operative setting and requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic life support.

Duties:

• Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs, documenting medical history, and verifying medication lists

• Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments

• Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Assist with scheduling patient appointments and coordinating referrals to specialists

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Certified Medical Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

• Proficiency in performing basic life support techniques

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient service

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
