    POSITION SUMMARY: A certified medical assistant assists team members and providers with ensuring clinic runs efficiently and smoothly while providing high quality care to patients. They perform tasks like preparing medical charts, assisting with procedures, collecting vital signs and documenting medical histories.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assisting the provider during procedures.  Obtaining patient vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of intake forms. Effectively communicates any abnormal findings to the provider.  Ensure medical and procedure notes are accurate and ready for physician review and completion.  Creating visit and procedure notes, and other necessary paperwork.  Prepare exam rooms for patients ensuring the room is well-stocked and clean.  Collect and upload imaging and previous treatment notes ahead of clinic to ensure an efficient clinic flow and prevent any delays in schedule.  Perform other related duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS  Strong communication and customer service skills  Ability to use a computer to complete administrative tasks  High school graduate or has GED  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or other qualified certifying agency  Willingness to travel to all clinic locations  Over 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant performing admin duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment
