We are seeking a Certified Medical Billing & Coding Specialist to join our busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced with insurance claims, coding accuracy, and revenue cycle workflows.

Responsibilities:

Accurate medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)

Submit and follow up on insurance claims

Verify eligibility & benefits and resolve denials

Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts

Work A/R reports and maintain clean claim rate

Communicate with providers and staff for documentation support

Qualifications:

Certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent

Minimum 1–2 years experience in billing/coding preferred

Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and payer rules

Must have experience with eClinical Works EMR

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
