    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager with an active CPC or CCS certification and at least 3 years of experience in a medical billing leadership role. This position will oversee our billing operations, ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and compliance with all relevant regulations.

    The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a proactive approach to improving billing efficiency and revenue cycle performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervision and Leadership:

    Lead, train, and supervise billing staff.

    Conduct performance evaluations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

    Motivate and support the team in achieving departmental goals.

    Billing Operations Management:

    Oversee end-to-end billing processes, from invoice creation to payment collection.

    Ensure timely, accurate billing statements and reconcile accounts.

    Manage billing systems (e.g., Eclinical Works) for optimal efficiency and performance.

    Revenue Cycle Management:

    Collaborate with A/R and collections teams to ensure timely payments.

    Analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

    Implement strategies to enhance revenue cycle performance.

    Customer Relations:

    Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes professionally and promptly.

    Maintain positive communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.

    Compliance and Reporting:

    Ensure billing practices comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

    Maintain accurate billing records and reports.

    Stay updated on billing regulations and coding requirements.

    Qualifications

    CPC or CCS certification (required)

    3–5+ years of experience in medical billing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

    Podiatry billing experience preferred

    Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Proficient in EMR systems (Eclinical Works preferred)

    Deep understanding of billing compliance and healthcare regulations
