Responsibilities: • Maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms by rotating sheets, changing bedpans, and performing general room upkeep • Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level • Help patients with basic care including bathing, dressing, going to the restroom, eating, and taking proper medication dosages on a daily basis • Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care • Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level Qualifications: • Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families • Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipment • Knowledgeable in record keeping through a computerized database to maintain patient history • Capable of administering catheters and enemas, preferred, but not required • Prior experience helping bedridden patients and patients who suffer from age-related illness including Alzheimer's and Dementia would be preferred Compensation: $39,500
