    Job Summary

    Apex Staffing Services is hiring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for Full Time candidates for a Senior Living Facility (SNF). In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients.

    What you'll do As a CNA on assignment with Apex, you'll provide direct resident care at our partner SNFs, including:

    Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, feeding

    Taking and recording vital signs

    Repositioning residents per facility protocols to prevent pressure injuries

    Reporting changes in resident condition

    Documenting care accurately in the designated medical system

    Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents

    Responsibilities

    Assist with daily living activities

    Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

    Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises

    Provide adjunct patient care

    Monitor food intake

    Monitor vital signs

    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

    What we're looking for

    Active NY State CNA certification in good standing (verifiable through NY State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry)

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date )

    Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete pre-assignment health screening (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, annual flu, COVID-19 as facility requires)

    Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen

    Eligible and located to work in the United States

    Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and respect for residents and their families

    Reliable transportation to assignment locations
