Job Summary
Newma Wellness is seeking a compassionate, reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our collaborative care team. This part-time position (24 hours per week, Wednesday through Friday) supports our multidisciplinary clinic in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families across the lifespan.
The CNA plays a vital role in supporting providers and clinical staff by assisting with patient flow, rooming, basic clinical tasks, and overall clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful patient interactions, teamwork, and working in a holistic, family-focused medical environment.

Responsibilities
Greet and room patients promptly, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience
Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and relevant patient information
Prepare exam rooms before and after patient visits, maintaining cleanliness and restocking supplies
Assist providers during exams and procedures as directed
Support patient flow to keep clinic operations running efficiently
Perform basic clinical tasks within CNA scope of practice
Accurately document patient interactions and clinical data in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Assist with specimen collection and handling per clinic protocols (if applicable)
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA compliance standards at all times
Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and front desk staff regarding patient needs
Provide patient comfort measures and respond to questions within scope, escalating concerns as needed
Assist with administrative or clerical tasks as needed to support clinic workflow
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture
Maintain professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality in all patient interactions
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
First aid and CPR-certified
Basic computer skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work with limited supervision
