Job Summary

As a CNA with Mi Casa Hospice, you will provide essential support to patients in their homes or facilities, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and comfort needs. You’ll work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patients receive high-quality, respectful, and dignified end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist patients with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises as directed.

Monitor and record vital signs, food, and fluid intake.

Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.

Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team.

Follow all care plans, health, and safety guidelines.

Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Active Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Basic computer/documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor.

Physical ability to lift and assist patients safely.
