Job Description:

The CNA plays an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision: to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shiftHelp Residents with personal hygieneObserve Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurseDocument Resident food and fluid intakeAssist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplementsMaking the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidyTransport Residents within the facilityAssist nurses and other staff as neededAdhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and proceduresAbide by all federal, state and local requirements and standardsMaintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Transport Residents withinAssist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements the facility

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Have an active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in New York State
• Have a strong comprehension of reading, writing and speaking English
• Prior experience working as a CNA a plus
• Have prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferred, but not required)
• Experience with SigmaCare a plus
