Job Description:

An Extra Hand Home Care, LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to support elderly and disabled clients, including individuals living with dementia. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality, respectful care in a home setting.

Caregivers will assist with daily living activities and provide companionship to ensure clients remain safe, comfortable, and supported.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

Bathing and personal hygiene

Dressing and grooming

Provide meal preparation and assist with feeding when needed

Offer companionship and emotional support

Assist with light errands, including trips to the store

Support clients with mobility and general supervision, especially those with dementia

Maintain a safe and clean environment for client

Schedule:

Availability between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Special assignments may be available for 24/7

Flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time options

Requirements:

CNA certification preferred (or relevant caregiving experience)

Experience working with elderly and/or dementia patients strongly preferred

Must be comfortable assisting with personal care needs

Valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation (required)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, and compassionate
