Job description:

IMPORTANT: This is a PRN position offering flexible scheduling, with both full-time and part-time hours available depending on caregiver availability and client needs.

The Southern Touch Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, non-medical care to clients in their homes. This role is essential in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort while receiving care in a familiar environment.

Our caregivers play an important part in improving the quality of life for the individuals and families we serve. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Provide companionship and emotional support

Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors or family members

Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

Accompany clients to appointments or errands when necessary

Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate daily documentation

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification or PCA training (as required by state regulations)

High school diploma or GED preferred

CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous home care or healthcare experience preferred
